Story
Frederick David David was one of the first pharmacists of Lebanese descent. Starting out in about 1926 with a single pharmacy in Queen Street Brisbane, by the 1940s Frederick had three pharmacies, one in George Street, another in Edward Street and a third in Toowoomba. His business continued to expand; in 1949 the QPODs listed David’s Pharmacies at 182 Adelaide Street; 290 Edward Street; 265 George Street; 44 Queen Street; and 401 Ruthven Street Toowoomba.
