Story

Simon Barakat opened Ehden Bar and Kitchen on Montague Road West End in October 2019. The restaurant is named after  Ehden, a mountain town near Zgharta in Lebanon’s north, the place Simon’s father left when he came to Australia over 50 years ago.  Simon grew up in Highgate Hill, so it is ‘a full circle’ to be back operating a business in the area.
